Htc one m7 32gb camera specifications. HTC One M7 - Specifications

The flagship HTC ONE M7 was introduced back in 2013, when it made a lot of noise and beat most of its competitors. The device has become a key one in the manufacturer's lineup, because before it things were not going well. Conducting HTC One M7 gold review in Russian, we just made sure that this is a truly revolutionary flagship, which ensured good sales of the entire “ONE” line and the brand's success in the world market.

We believe that the flagship remains relevant even now, especially given the current cost. The manufacturer does not follow trends, he creates them on his own, in connection with which the smartphone can compete even with modern devices of the middle price category.

Package contents HTC ONE M7

The kit includes the smartphone itself, charger, micro-USB cable, headset and documentation.

The box is made of white cardboard and has a stylish design. On its back side, as expected, are the characteristics of the gadget.

HTC ONE M7 design

The model turned out to be successful in all respects and appearance was no exception. While reviewing the HTC ONE M7 dual sim, we noticed that this is one of the first phones made in a monolithic case made of solid aluminum. It was not possible to completely abandon the plastic inserts, because in this case the smartphone would have poorly received the signal. For this reason, two stripes are provided on the back side, but they do not spoil the overall style at all. The metal case not only had a positive effect on the strength of the gadget, but also made it possible to obtain an original design that remains relevant even to this day. The build quality deserves the highest praise.

The smartphone lies well in the hand, and the material itself is pleasant to the touch. After prolonged use, fingerprints become noticeable on the glass, but thanks to the oleophobic coating, they are very easy to remove. HTC ONE M7 is better to wear in a case, as the metal surface remains noticeable scratches and scuffs.

On the front panel there is a display with an optimal diagonal of 4.7 inches in our opinion. Above and below the screen are speakers, the sound quality of which will satisfy any music lover. At the top, there is a selfie camera lens, a light indicator and a light sensor.

On the right side is the volume rocker. It is slightly pressed into the case, which at first creates certain inconveniences, but after several days of operation, this drawback no longer makes itself felt.

On the left side there is a hole for placing a micro-sim, but without a special paper clip it will not be possible to open it.

On the top of the smartphone there is a power key, which has an built-in infrared port, and there is also a 3.5mm headset jack nearby.

At the bottom there is only a micro-USB port.

Performance and Specifications

HTC ONE M7 dual sim 32gb specifications correspond to the level of 2013 flagships. On board the device uses a 4-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.7GG processor and 2 GB of RAM. The built-in video module Adreno 320 is responsible for the graphics. The characteristics of the HTC ONE M7 phone allow you to enjoy the smooth operation of the interface and run any games at maximum graphics settings. But the disadvantage is the impossibility of expanding the memory by installing a memory card. 32 GB of internal memory may seem small to some users, because the memory is quickly clogged with photos, music and games. The metal case heats up quite a lot during intensive games, but everything is within the normal range.

Display HTC ONE M7

The HTC One M7 screen has become one of the key features. He had an innovative resolution at the time of release - 1920x1080px. The picture on it looks amazing. All colors are saturated, and distortion is not observed at any viewing angles. The overall impression is complemented by a protective coating in the form of Gorilla Glass 3. An oleophobic base is applied on top of the coating, so that there are practically no fingerprints left during use. In terms of image quality, the smartphone can be compared with Apple products. The margin of brightness is sufficient, the colors are saturated, the picture looks realistic. But of course, the powerful filling and the high resolution of the display negatively affected the autonomy of the gadget.

autonomy

HTC ONE M7 dual sim lte features include a non-removable battery with a claimed capacity of 2300 mAh. With intensive use, the smartphone will have to be recharged by the end of the day, especially if you turn on additional navigation and communication modules. In general, this is a good result, but it could have been better.

cameras

The HTC ONE M7 camera is a revolutionary solution, because the manufacturer decided to abandon the existing standards and offered an interesting technology of enlarged pixels that capture light better. The resolution of the main camera is 4 ultra-pixels, so the pictures are of high quality and detailed. In terms of its photographic abilities, the gadget can be compared with mid-range cameras. The benefits of the enlarged pixels are especially noticeable at night, because even in low light conditions, the pictures are excellent. The only thing is that when shooting in some conditions, a pinkish tint is observed in the pictures.

Sample photo:

Conclusion

HTC ONE M7 specifications and price matched perfectly, because now the smartphone can be ordered from China at a price of 9,000 rubles. For this money, you get a suitable device with a revolutionary camera, a gorgeous display, good autonomy and performance. Another positive point will be the manufacturer's proprietary shell, which is made in a simple but very comfortable style. The disadvantages include the lack of a slot for a memory card, as well as strong heating during games (but you can warm your hands in cold weather). The sound deserves special praise. When listening to music, you get the feeling that you have turned on a high-quality audio system.

The battery lasts a long time before sony xperia, I kept the charge only while I was on steam, applications, VK, games, etc. were used. this one holds noticeably longer, when I come home there is at least 60-70% left, the sound from the speakers is generally a fairy tale, it’s a pleasure to play games, the front camera is also very good!

    2 years ago 0

The advantages of this aparatik are obvious: the case made of metal is more reliable than other brothers. The battery is enough. After watching the movie, the battery - that the fly does not fuck, remains almost fully charged). More hawala on the Internet. The monitor is good, lively, I have not seen it cooler yet. The sound is pleasant to listen to, the ears are pleased with two speakers, like in a disco - loud and clean. The hardware part is not stupid, everything is smooth and beautiful. Two gig games without brakes

Loud speakers, comfortable in the hand, good performance

    2 years ago 0

1, 2. Excellent sound and picture quality. 3. It's just damn cool in the hand without a cover and various cases. 4. There are enough cameras for everyday life (take a picture of the train schedule or a lecture). 5. The battery is quite sane. With gentle use, I have enough for three days without recharging. 6. Resistant to damage. Either I'm so neat, or the smartphone is really so well resistant to damage. Without cases, it is used throughout its "life" - no scratches are observed. I can’t say anything about glass, because. I use protective film. 7. Aluminum housing. This is both a plus and a minus (point 2 of the shortcomings). Pleasantly cools the palm after lying on the table for 5-7 minutes.

design, very fast, very loud, good screen

    2 years ago 0

Ergonomic, does not strain in your pocket. Large, clear display with correct color reproduction. Everything is that any flagship can.

    2 years ago 0

I will not paint the device strongly - everything in the reviews has already been painted for a long time. From what I want to note on personal impression. 1) The screen is beautiful, even though my copy is Samsung, not Sharp. 2) Sound, sound, sound! Now I listen to music not at full power, but half, I shudder from incoming calls - loudly at the maximum! Vibro is also stronger than before 3) The battery is not bad. Strongly did not bother, but at least not worse than everyone else. The phone finally survives until the end of the day, and sometimes it lives for two days .. However, some people manage to land it in 6 hours - only external power will help them in any device :) comments, with a note that if you finish it, then everything is fine). New sense (excluding items that are in short supply

    2 years ago 0

excellent display, color reproduction at the level, the picture is pleasing to the eye, but I generally keep quiet about video in fullhd

    2 years ago 0

the best display, everything works very quickly, a monolithic aluminum case, the design is unrivaled, the battery (whoever says anything) is on the level.

    2 years ago 0

Awesome design, can't get enough of it. + Very comfortable in the hand, when you hold it, you experience pleasant tactile sensations (thanks to aluminum), do not want to let it go. + The speakers are the bomb! Listening to music, watching videos with sound is a pleasure. + Excellent performance, nothing slows down. + Stunning screen. No words only emotions! + Price. I bought it for 17k, which is inexpensive, for such a unit. + Very pleased with the loud and clear sound when talking on the phone. + It's also nice that the phone can be used as a remote control, and even if some device is not in the database, you can train the phone using a standard remote control from this device. + 4G keeps flying until the traffic runs out.

    1. Heating
    2. Battery, I read that this is the norm for modern smartphones, but after the Lumia 710, which lasted 2 days with my load on the phone.
    3. Due to the fact that I wore a cover with skinon (do not order covers from there), there were scuffs on the back, most likely from sand.

    2 years ago 0

the only thing that I consider a disadvantage is the camera in the dark, it is pink!

    2 years ago 0

The camera is good, I would like cooler

    2 years ago 0

    Didn't find it for myself

    2 years ago 0

    1. The htc inscription on the back of the gadget is slightly recessed, so if you take it with dirty hands or lay it on a dirty surface, dirt accumulates there. It is solved by a simple cleaning once every couple of months, or by a banal pulling on the case.
    2. Heavy toys cause your smartphone to heat up in agony, which does not affect performance in any way, but the aluminum back will definitely notify you that it is a little uncomfortable. And notify by degrees 35-45. It is also solved by pulling the case. Of course, it won’t stop heating up, but it won’t burn your hand - for sure.

    2 years ago 0

too loud (not quiet), gets very hot, sits down very quickly, the camera is not impressive, build quality, uncomfortable buttons.

    2 years ago 0

Battery (1-2 days), slippery, camera resolution, covers hide the advantages of aluminum.

    2 years ago 0

    1) non-switchable blinkfeed - this will strain some. I use an rss reader and that's why I don't need this service and it just takes up space. If they add support for their rss to it, then it will be a bomb, but for now, a minus.
    2) Three dots in non-adapted applications. It is removed in any third-party firmware, but 90% will sit on the drain, and there fixes for this um .. features can be expected for a long time.
    3) Many people complain about the gaps in the places where the front panel of the speakers and the main body are glued together. On mine, too, there are microscopic ones, I didn’t drive about this. But you should pay attention when buying! If you find these gaps with difficulty - do not worry and take it :)
    4) Weak functionality of different sense features out of the box - no curtain with switches in the pull-out menu, few widgets, why

    2 years ago 0

assembly leaves much to be desired, Sense 5 is raw like fresh chicken eggs, the keyboard is not very comfortable, but the good thing is that Sense is tailored to the external style of the device itself, blink is not fully localized for the Russian Federation (there is news, a championship, high-tech mail something else), so that there is little use for it, the TV remote function also does not work

    2 years ago 0

    didn't like the camera

With all this incomprehensible situation in the world in general and in Russia in particular, when the cost of smartphones has increased dramatically and is not going to go down yet, it's time to think about whether new smartphone. Now I'm not talking so much about the state of the device - new or used (although this is also the case), so much about whether it is a modern smartphone or, let's say, a little outdated, released 2-3 years ago, but still on sale. For example, I have an HTC One M7, a very successful device for its time, which I still sometimes take out to use as a device for distributing the Internet on a trip or even as a second smartphone. And if you think about it, it could well be used as the main phone. I propose to take a look, or rather, even remember what strengths and weaknesses this model has, if we consider it as the basis of a smartphone for this year.

The main strength of the HTC One M7 today is the design, combined with case materials and dimensions. The device looks cool and has not lost its originality in two years, it is still one of the few of its kind and is easily recognizable. Moreover, it is forged, copied, and various developments from the M7 design are used by other companies.

The second is brushed aluminium. The material is practical and comfortable - due to it, the smartphone lies comfortably in the hand, does not slip out, and traces and prints from hands and fingers on the case are invisible and barely remain. Scratches - yes, they appear over time, but they do not really spoil the appearance.

In my sample, after two years of not too active, but, nevertheless, use, there were very few scratches on the case, a couple of deep ones on the ribs, and the Beats logo was slightly worn out - that's all. Otherwise, the smartphone looks like a solid "four", that is, it is perfectly preserved.

Finally, size is what attracts me the most to the HTC One M7. The device cannot be called very compact, but against the background of modern flagships it is convenient: moderately elongated, not too thin, but not thick, and most importantly, with a good width. Due to all these parameters, it is much more convenient to hold the M7 in your hand than modern top-end smartphones. They can be used with one hand without any problems, and you will only have to get used to the not very good location of the power button on the upper edge on the left. As for the rest, in my opinion, in terms of convenience, working with the device with one hand HTC One M7 will give odds to many modern models.

In terms of technical characteristics, as expected back then, at the beginning of 2013, the flagships of two years ago have not turned into pumpkins today. Yes, progress cannot be stopped: we constantly see new platforms, more cores, more precisely the technical process, and so on, but this does not make the devices of past years slower. HTC One M7 has an excellent speed, the device does not lag or slow down during daily work. Seriously, I pick up any HTC One M8 or samsung galaxy Note 4, and then One M7 - and I don’t see a fundamental difference in the smoothness of the interface or work in general. Unless the most demanding games for hardware may not go as fast as you want, but not all of us need to play such games, you see.

The operating time of the M7 is also acceptable compared to the flagships of 2014. The screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels in the M7, as it was one of the best two years ago, remains very good today: maximum viewing angles, natural color reproduction, and a good margin of brightness.

Of the minuses that are critical for me personally, I can only note a weak camera: four megapixels, albeit an increased size, today this is not always enough, let's face it. Of the common disadvantages - the lack of a slot for a memory card and, probably, that's all. I can't remember anything else critical. The smartphone has LTE, cool and loud stereo speakers and a user-friendly HTC Sense interface.

By the way, I dug around and even found a couple of good shots from the review, taken on a weak HTC One M7 camera (and yes, of course, this is a macro):

But the general plans are not the strong point of the four-megapixel HTC One M7 camera, alas:

Yes, HTC One M7 does not have the highest resolution (not all flagships of the end of 2014 have it), but a smartphone with a screen of 5-6 inches does not really need it, let alone models with screens less than five inches, which include M7. Yes, the device does not have 3 or 4 GB of RAM and an eight-core processor, but even without this it is fast and works without problems and delays. Yes, the battery capacity here is only 2300 mAh, but this is enough for the device to survive until the evening, like any current flagship (with the exception of a couple of models). That is, in a good way, if you do not know that this is a smartphone of 2013, it is quite possible to put it on a par with many modern models, and HTC One M7 is far from an outsider in this comparison.

What do you want to say after this short note? If you think about it, and then look at the device, remember its shortcomings and strengths, it turns out that the HTC One M7 is still an excellent device today. If the camera in a smartphone is not of decisive importance to you, but design, build quality, body materials, sound of external speakers, speed of operation and just overall quality are important, the M7 looks like a reasonable choice even now, two years after the model was released. True, it is difficult to find it for sale, but there are probably used options in good quality if you look. The main idea that I want to convey is that perhaps not everyone thought about it, but it is not necessary to choose your new smartphone only among the devices of 2014. In 2013, a lot of cool smartphones came out, and many of them, two years later, did not lose their advantages and strengths at all, and as for prices, if you search, then devices two years ago (meaning the release date) may well be comparable in price to current smartphones from the middle price segment. So why limit your choice to new models only, if you can expand your viewing circle and find something very interesting and still relevant, like, for example, the HTC One M7.

Look, isn't he handsome?
