The new gorgeous iPad Pro is out! How much do the new iPad Pro cost in Russia?

It is expected that this month the company will hold another presentation at which the models will be presented iPad Pro 2018. Mentions of new tablets have already been found in the beta version of iOS 12.1, and then sources from the famous portal 9to5mac shared interesting details about the devices.

It was noted that two versions of the iPad Pro 2018 are being prepared, each of which will be released in four modifications. Most likely, we are talking about tablets in two sizes, with two options for built-in memory and with support for Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + LTE. Regardless of the modification, they will all differ in a number of interesting features, which will be discussed below.

Edge-to-Edge Screen

The new 2018 iPad Pro models will feature displays with very narrow bezels. In addition, these are the first tablets that will lose the Touch ID button. That is, the line will follow the path of the iPhone, abandoning fingerprint scanning in favor of Face ID.

The TrueDepth camera system required for facial recognition will be placed above the display, on the top frame. There will be no cutouts.

Face recognition in any orientation

An interesting feature of the new tablets will be the ability to recognize faces in both portrait and landscape orientations. To unlock, you won’t need to turn the tablet over every time; the main thing is not to hold it upside down.

What’s noteworthy is that the Face ID setup process will be quite standard, just like on the iPhone. There will be no need to turn the tablet over, allowing the camera to store more data.

External display support

New iPads should receive USB port Type-C, which will allow you to display images from the tablet to external displays in 4K HDR format. To control this function, a new panel will be available in the settings, allowing you to control resolution, brightness, dynamic range and other picture parameters.

A new Apple Pencil is also reported. It will automatically connect to your iPad, similar to how you connect to an iPhone. To pair, you no longer need to connect the accessory to the tablet via the charging port.

Magnetic connector

The 2018 iPad Pro will have a new magnetic accessory connector on the back. It is with its help that the tablet will be connected to the new version of the smart keyboard, which should be presented along with tablets, as well as some other devices.

Today, October 30, there was an Apple presentation, which I liked much more than the previous several. First of all, I very satisfied the release of the updated Mac Mini, and secondly, the best iPad on this moment! In my opinion, this model is in some ways even breakthrough and key in the history of the brand... Why? Let's take a closer look at it.

The iPad now has a completely new design. Please note that the bezels around the screen have become noticeably smaller. To my delight, all the key elements like the camera were hidden on this frame. No terrible eyebrow that spoils many modern smartphones... Also, the iPad has become 1 mm thinner and the design of its side edges has become straighter and stricter.

Two iPad Pro models have been redesigned: regular and large. Now they can be distinguished as iPad Pro 11 inches and iPad Pro 12.9 inches. Please note that only the first model’s screen has grown – previously it was 10.5. The display is updated and is called Liquid Retina. This is exactly the display in the new iPhone Xr. It is considered not the most top-end display, because the iPhone Xs has Super Retina.

The 11-inch iPad Pro has a different resolution (a headache for app developers) than the 10.5 iPad Pro, but the pixel density is the same.

Since the iPad Pro no longer has a Home button, users will have to get used to the new gestures that iPhone X, Xs, and Xr owners are already accustomed to.

Also added to the iPad Pro is facial recognition technology – Face ID, which works in any position of the iPad. Apple emphasizes that their technology is the most secure. Unlike competitors' solutions. Face ID allows you to unlock your iPad or make an online purchase...

The processor in the new iPad Pro is A12X Bionic (in the iPhone Xs, for reference, only A12). This processor more powerful than the processors in most laptops presented on the market. A12X 2 times more powerful than the processors in the previous generation iPad Pro!

By the way, Apple pays great attention to demonstrating the capabilities of the iPad at its conferences. For some, this is “filling up airtime,” but if you take a closer look, the company is persistently promoting the idea to the masses that the iPad can well replace a work laptop. This time they showed Adobe features Photoshop CC, which will be released for iPad in 2019.

The best iPad gets the best updated stylus! It recognizes touch: you can change drawing tools in programs by touching the area below.

To pair with an iPad, you need to magnetize the Apple Pencil. Moreover, at this moment the stylus is charging...

Apple is also concerned about the release of a new Smart Keyboard Folio.

The new iPad Pro no longer has lightning. From now on, the standard for charging and synchronization is USB Type C. Through this port you can connect a camera or monitor to the iPad Pro. USB-C also allows you to charge a connected phone via a wire.

In the new iPad Pro, the front camera does not shine with special characteristics: it is suitable for selfies and video communication. It's all the good old 7 megapixels. But they added Portrait mode, Portrait lighting, as well as Animoji and Memoji, previously available only in iPhone X, etc. to the functionality.

The rear camera has 12 megapixels and allows you to take cool pictures and record 4K videos. BUT! The exact same camera is in the old iPad Pro 10.5, so there shouldn’t be any revelations when you first get acquainted with the camera.

On the Apple website you can also find a strange moment: the optical image stabilization has disappeared somewhere from the camera. :(Also, there was a six-element lens, but it became a five-element lens. I’m not a professional in photographic equipment, but apparently the camera has become slightly worse.

Now attention! It may be expensive, but the new iPad Pro has a 1 terabyte model variation!

Regarding communication modules, the three most important modules have received improvements:

  • Now Wi-Fi simultaneously Can support dual bands 2.4 and 5 GHz.
  • The LTE module is now designated Gigabit Class LTE (29 bands).
  • Bluetooth is now version 5.0 instead of 4.2.

The new iPad Pro has support for eSim (an electronic SIM card built into the device). Appeared for the first time in the iPhone XS. Allows you to program it to work with different operators. How is this different from Apple Sim technology? Because Apple Sim is just a SIM card that is not tied to any operator, but eSim is a built-in small module.

Official prices for the new iPad Pro:

  • iPad Pro 11” 64 gigabytes – 65,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 11” 256 GB – 77,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 11” 512 GB – 93,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 11” 1 terabyte – 125,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 12.9” 64 gigabytes – 81,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 12.9” 256 GB – 93,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 12.9” 512 gigabytes – 109,990 rubles
  • iPad Pro 12.9” 1 terabyte – 141,990 rubles

Pre-order on the Apple website is currently not available! :)

The new iPad Pro tablet was officially unveiled at Apple presentations October 30. The tablet turned out to be an exact copy models from the iOS 12.1 code, received support for facial recognition technology, which turned out to be even more advanced than in the flagship iPhone, a USB-C connector and a smart second-generation Apple Pencil with gesture support.

The main feature of the iPad Pro that catches your eye when you first look at the tablet is, of course, its display. The stunning IPS panel with a diagonal of 11 and 12.9 inches and bezels that tend to disappear evokes true admiration for the abilities of Apple engineers. But the main thing is that they managed to make the display absolutely symmetrical, despite the TrueDepth system, which is responsible for facial recognition.

The heart of the tablet is the eight-core A12X Bionic processor. It is 90% faster than the previous generation, which allows it to be considered one of the most productive “stones” for personal computers.

Apple has not changed the design of its iPad for a long time - if the model is in demand, then you should not resort to any changes. But after the runaway success of the iPhone X last year, it looks like the company is set to release an updated version of the iPad Pro tablet, the “iPad X,” in 2018.

Apple has not disclosed details of the new model, but some information is already starting to appear on the Internet. The most important of these is that on the next generation iPad, the Home button will be located in the same place as on the iPhone, and integrated into the display.

It is still not entirely clear what place the iPad X will occupy in the line of tablets, because Apple has three tablet models: iPad, iPad Pro and iPad mini.

iPad Pro 2018 (iPad X) release date in Russia (Sales start date)

The latest iPad Pro models were announced at last WWDC on June 5, 2017 and are available for purchase now. Of course, the next announcement should be expected this summer, but we hope that some additional information can be found out at the usual spring press release: about the iPad mini 5, and the long-awaited .

On February 21, French-language website Consomac reported that Apple had registered two new devices described as tablets running operating system iOS 11, with the Eurasian Commission database. The new model IDs are A1954 and A1893.

This indicates the inevitable announcement of new models, just as information about the iPhone 7 and AirPods appeared two weeks before the official release. The introduction of new models in March looks quite likely, but it is not yet known whether this will be a regular press release or a full-scale media event like in 2015 and 2016.

Sources cited by Bloomberg predict, on the other hand, that the new iPads will be released more than a year after last update iPad Pro. Presumably, this will happen in late summer - early autumn, in August-September 2018. This could mean that new models expected to be released early in the year will be less significant.

What price will the new iPad Pro 2018 (iPad X) have?

The iPad X will likely be an impressive gadget, but it won't be cheap either.

The 10.5-inch iPad Pro with 64GB of storage and Wi-Fi starts at £619, and the Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at £749; for iPad Pro with 12.9-inch screen, 64GB of memory and Wi-Fi – £769 and £899 for the model with Wi-Fi + Cellular.

Even if the iPad X has a screen size smaller than 12.9 inches, you should still expect it to be priced closer to a premium model. Approximate pricing will start at £999.

Major design changes of the new iPad Pro 2018 (iPad X)

Apple is expected to bring some design changes to the iPhone X in 2018.

Bloomberg's sources suggest that at least one of the new iPad models will feature an all-screen display and move from Touch ID to Face ID.

The model will have a screen size close to 10.5 inches, but removing the home screen button will allow you to increase the screen size to 11 inches or keep it the same by reducing the thickness of the frame around the screen.

Presumably, the screen will not be based on OLED. Perhaps this will happen due to production difficulties (and supply shortages) when creating screens for the iPhone X.

“Modern iPad”

Speculation about the emergence of a “modern iPad”, which was supposedly already in development, appeared after the appearance of code for a new operating system. Apple was already using the term "modern iPad" before reports of the iPhone X appeared, primarily to distinguish gadgets with an all-surface screen and Face ID technology from other smartphones released at the same time.

The first photos of the iPad Pro 2018 concept (iPad X) have appeared

It's too early to expect photos or factory shots of the new model, but concept drawings are available. It should be understood that the drawings are submitted by people not associated with Apple and visualize the rumors surrounding the design of the new model.

There are several illustrations of the next iPad Pro model from Martin Hajek, which show the gadget with the expected full-surface screen, a missing home button and a notch around the screen. He also provided several illustrations of the Apple Pencil in black and silver.

Specifications and new features of iPad Pro 2018 (iPad X)

Let's take a look at the internal changes in the new iPads.

CPU

The latest iPad models feature new A-series chips, which are based on the same architecture found in the iPhones introduced last year. For example, the A10 chip integrated into the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus has 2 high-performance processor cores, 2 cores, a 6-core GPU and 3 GB random access memory.

The A10X, integrated into the iPad Pro, has 3 high-performance processor cores, 3 cores, a 12-core GPU and 4GB of RAM. Likewise, the new 2018 iPad models are expected to feature the A11X chip based on the A11 Bionic found in the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

Citing information from Apple suppliers, the Chinese site MyDrivers claims that the A11X chip will have three high-performance processor cores (2 on the A11), 5 cores (4 on the A11) and will be 7 nm thick using TSMC's manufacturing process. The thickness of the A11 chip is 10 nm.

It goes without saying that the new chip will have more RAM and more GPU cores. It would be strange if this were not the case.

This question must be answered by you. Ask yourself, for what purpose do you need this iPad? Is this purchase promising and justified? If yes, then Apple technologies will be waiting for you this September, on the counter of your nearest store.

| iPadPRO 2018: NEWS

Apple says this is the biggest update since the first iPad, and the new tablets come in two sizes: an 11-inch version and a 12.9-inch version.

The small iPad has the same size body as the latest iPad Pro, but instead of a 10.5-inch screen, it now has an 11-inch one.

There's also a new version of the larger tablet with a 12.9-inch panel that features a smaller body, making the tablet less bulky than last year's model.

The new iPads are one of the thinnest tablets on the market, with the 12.9-inch beast measuring just 5.9mm.

Both feature Liquid Retina displays that use True Tine technology and a host of other features. Apple claims this is one of the most accurate and responsive displays the company has ever put on a tablet.

There is no Home button on the front of the tablet; instead, tablets rely on Face ID technology for authentication. This should work similar to the iPhone X and iPhone XS.

Tablets are presented with the latest software iOS 12.1, but it's a little different from how it works on existing tablets. The OS brings a lot of iPhone X features to help you use it without the Home button.

The tablet runs on A12X Bionic chipsets, which are built on Apple's own 7-nanometer process technology. The company promises not only a major improvement in energy consumption, but also an increase in performance. Single-core performance is 35% faster than the last iPad, but we won't know how powerful the tablet is until we try it ourselves.

Apple's own 7nm GPU sits inside and is said to make graphics performance a thousand times faster than the tablets that came before it...we're glad some games will run better.

We currently don't know how big the battery is in any version of the tablet, while the manufacturer has stated that the tablets will provide "a day of battery life."

You'll also be able to get up to 1TB of storage with the new iPad Pro, but we don't currently know what storage sizes the company plans to offer for the smaller model.

The big, important change to the new iPad Pro is the USB-C port at the base of the tablet. The purpose of installing the port is to be able to display the tablet’s image on monitors using USB-C.

You can even charge your iPhone from your tablet using a special Charger. Quad speakers return on the new iPad Pro, while the main cameras are 12-megapixel sensors capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second. Front-camera– 7 megapixel sensor.

There is also a new Apple version Pencil. It now magnetically attaches to the top of the tablet and will charge via wireless network when you connect it. This means that he will no longer have to stick out from the tablet.

You can also press the stylus to switch between modes, such as eraser or searching for a thicker line. In addition, Apple releases new version keyboard case.
